Perrys Lookdown is located at the end of Hat Hill Road, Blackheath. It offers grand views from the top of the escarpment into the World Heritage National Park and the Grose Valley. From here there is a bushwalk which is the shortest but steepest descent into the famous Blue Gum Forest. Five and a half hours return for experienced walkers only.
There is a small camping area and car park. Campers should bring drinking water and a fuel stove. No camp fires are permitted. One night stay only. Non flush toilets.
