Looking for some real adventure that doesn't look like the walls of an indoor rock climbing centre? Challenge yourself in the great outdoors and experience climbing the real rock of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Climbs of various levels of difficulty are available to suit everyone including beginners.

What to expect: Riverlife rock climbing sessions are guided by qualified and experienced instructors. No experience is necessary as each session includes instruction, a safety briefing (where you will learn how to rock climb) and equipment. Participants must wear and use the safety equipment provided by Riverlife. Safety equipment includes a helmet, harness, and rope. Booking essential. Complimentary showers, lockers and sunscreen are available for your use.

Before participating, all participants must sign an Indemnity Agreement Form personally or by a guardian if the participant is under the age of 18 years
Please wear comfortable clothes (T-shirt and shorts / ¾ pants), and enclosed shoes
Please bring hat and sunglasses (optional), hair tie (long hair), water bottle (drinks are available for purchase)
Complimentary showers and sunscreen are available for your use
Lockers are available for hire (AU$3 per locker)
Participants must be 8 years of age or older to participate . For night activities, participants must be 12 years of age or older. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult to assist them in belaying. If no adult is present, the child will not be permitted to rock climb

Renee was great. Our two fourteen year olds loved the climbing experience and rated the experience an 11 out of 10. We will come back. Instructions were clear, safety was paramount, instructors were helpful and encouraging

This was as super experience to have a go at ...real rock climbing rather than the more straight forward indoor climbs. Our instructor Renee, and her assistants, were outstanding making sure it was all performed safely and we got the most from the experience. We will be back for the abseil...!

My son did outdoor rock climbing for the first time today and had the best time. The instructors (Liam and Bill) were super helpful and friendly and made the experience a lot of fun. I would very much recommend, we will be going again.

The staff went extra length to make sure that we had a chance to top and climb the other routes since we started on the harder ones. Good safety instructions and they were very supportive!

Fun and challenging activity for everyone. I had some climbing experience from earlier, but with the varying difficult of routes there were climbs for everyone.

The rock climb was probably the best thing I did during my stay in Brisbane. The instructor was nice and funny, the other people were nice too, everybody got good equipment and had more than enough chances to climb. The climbs were of a good level for me as a non climber. It was so much fun and the view from the top was amazing! Thank you!
